What is the program?
Shop smarter, share and earn
The Hortibasket affiliate program connects two communities. Shoppers use a creator's personal code at checkout to save money, and the creator earns coins every time their code is used on an order.
If you've been sent a code by a friend, family member, or a plant creator you follow, you'll save on your order instantly. If you run a code yourself, you'll earn rewards in the form of Horticoins — no cash-out required, they credit straight into your wallet.

Share your personal code and earn coins every time someone uses it. Track everything from your affiliate dashboard.
Using a code (shoppers)
Save at checkout in three steps

Add the items you want to your cart and go to checkout.

In the promo box on the checkout page (labelled "Coupon or influencer code"), type or paste the code you were given.

As soon as the code is recognised, your discount appears instantly in the order summary as "Influencer (CODE)", showing the creator's name — and is applied before you pay.
One discount at a time
An influencer code is a promo code — it cannot be combined with a coupon or with Horticoins at the same checkout.
Codes have limits
Some codes are valid only for a set period or for a limited number of orders. If a code is inactive, not yet started, expired, or fully used, it will be politely rejected at checkout.
No cost to you
The discount is applied to your order total before you pay. The creator's reward is handled separately — it never changes the price you pay.
Earning as a creator
How your code works
Influencer codes are created for you by the Hortibasket team — there's no self-serve signup yet. Once you're onboarded, a personal code is issued to your account and you'll see the "Affiliate Program" section under Account.
Each code carries its own setup, agreed with you when you join: the discount you offer to shoppers (a percentage or a flat amount) and how you earn (coins as a percentage of the sale, or a fixed number of coins per order).

Dashboard & rewards
Track every coin
Your affiliate dashboard (Account → Affiliate Program) is your command centre. It shows your code, its current status and limits, your stats, and every reward along the way.
- Your code with one-tap copy — plus its config: discount type and value, reward type and value.
- Code status (active / paused / inactive), any pause reason, validity window, and usage limit vs orders used.
- Stats: total orders, total sales, and total rewards issued through your code.
- A reward ledger where each reward moves from pending to approved or rejected.
- Your affiliate wallet: coins available, lifetime earned, and lifetime transferred.
Available coins
Your available balance is what you've earned minus what you've already moved. As long as it's earned and not transferred, it's yours to transfer.

| Pending | The order has used your code and the reward has been recorded, waiting for review. |
| Approved | The reward is confirmed and its coins are part of your affiliate wallet balance. |
| Rejected | The reward did not qualify and those coins were not added to your wallet. |
Redeeming your coins
Move coins into your Horticoin wallet
When you're ready to spend what you've earned, transfer your affiliate coins to your Horticoin wallet. The transfer is instant and one-to-one — 1 affiliate coin becomes 1 Horticoin.
Both sides are recorded for you: a "Coins transferred" entry appears in your affiliate history, and an "Coins Earned" entry appears in your Horticoin wallet history.

Open Account → Affiliate Program and enter how many coins you want to transfer.

Confirm the transfer — your affiliate balance is debited and your Horticoin balance is credited immediately.

Spend your Horticoins at checkout like any other coins (subject to the normal Horticoin rules).
Coins are for savings, not cash
Affiliate rewards are spent as order discounts through Horticoins. They aren't paid out as cash or bank transfers.
